"When compared to an actual baby's hand and foot, I was surprised to see that even the finest wrinkles were expressed so well!

I finally tried making a newborn hand and foot sculpture using Mom's Present Self DIY Set, something I'd debated doing since my baby's birth. Typically, these sculptures are made by experts, but this kit proved so easy that I regret not getting it sooner! Highly recommend Mom’s Present hand and foot sculpture DIY set for beginners."

"When you buy the Super Easy Clay Set from Mom's Present, you'll receive Eco Clay along with plenty of plaster powder and additional accessories. After the plaster hardens, a toothbrush with firm bristles can be used to separate it from the clay, while acrylic paint and a brush can be used for final coloring."

"There's no need to fear stamping on clay. Unlike materials that are used once and discarded, clay allows for multiple attempts if you don't get it right the first time. Initially nervous, I lacked the strength to press or create patterns. However, with practice, I learned to adjust the angle and force, resulting in well-formed shapes. For footprints, simply stepping on the clay works, while for handprints, pressing the back of a closed fist onto the clay yields easy and clear patterns."
"After completing the molding process, mix plaster powder and water, pour it into the mold, and let it harden for about 2 hours. Though I was supposed to measure 140cc, lacking a measuring cup, I improvised with a baby bottle. After the plaster has fully hardened, separate it from the clay. Use the toothbrush provided to neatly remove any clay residue from curved areas. Rinse with water and dry thoroughly before proceeding."
"The final step is to apply a golden color. This acrylic paint allows for controlled concentration with water, but once fully hardened, it transforms into a coating-like material, ensuring easy management without being washed away by water. Even if paint gets on your hands, it washes off easily with water, so there's no need to worry about that."

"The hand and foot sculpture of my baby, which I diligently crafted on my own, turned out to be more detailed than I had anticipated. The clay effectively captured intricate details such as toe wrinkles, sole textures, knuckle creases, and nail shapes, resulting in an accurate outcome once the plaster was poured. Prior to coloring, the sculpture may appear less defined and complete due to its white hue and lack of shading. However, once the coloring process is finished, it undoubtedly becomes clearer and more finished."
"When compared to an actual baby's hand and foot, I was surprised to see that even the finest wrinkles were expressed so well! These sculptures are truly perfect representations of my baby's hands and feet! The clay used as a mold can be refrigerated or frozen for reuse after removing the plaster. Therefore, I plan to create another hand and foot sculpture to commemorate my baby's 100th day, building on the success of the first one made for the 50th day."
